For me, the visual organization was very helpful. The format was organized around specific themes, which were enhanced by the style. It captured the nub of important points well. I appreciate that you provided voiceover for those who need screen readers. Seems like a worthy effort and excellent for relatively short pieces. That is not as text heavy as traditional ways, making it accessible to those who need a different format.
Thanks, that was great! I love your detailed and substantive critiques, but occasionally zooming out like this for a wider view is good for my mental health. Clearly articulating a massive problem helps one better understand one's own relationship to it.
I love the idea of opening a conversation about what kind of AI we, the everyday citizens, want. Deployment of these world-changing technologies should not be left in the hands of self-interested, emotionally stunted tech billionaires. One critical distinction that deserves more discussion is the value of traditional AI (using structured data for science, medicine etc) and GenAI (using vast sets of undisclosed data, much of it stolen, to make unreliable predictions).
No. If I wanted a visual thread I'd go to Instagram or Bluesky or something. But then, I don't want a visual thread. I prefer coherent, thoughtful writing. I suppose it's fine as an adjunct for those who think visually (or the kids) but that's it.
Very coherent, clear and precise. Certainly different than the usual RDP format. But having an option like this at times is a good shake up. What I appreciated the most is that it presented, time and again, a fact, a concern about the fact, and examples of that fact. Although it should not be, having all three of those points presented feels rare these days. It made me want to instantly go and read the rest of the articles that are shown here, to get further information. Reading my same concerns written so plainly there also validated my concerns, which, to put it directly, made me feel a bit less alone in my worry. It's a cautionary tale in graphic form about an area that is wildly plowing forward without our input. Nicely done.

The article hit on good themes. No final opinion on format.

Don't much care for it. Chaotic. Fragmented.
