Battacharya has an interesting resume on the Stanford page: https://cap.stanford.edu/profiles/viewCV?facultyId=4000&name=Jayanta_Bhattacharya

I was curious after you mentioned that he is an economist by training, as I had an impression that he was solidly in medicine. I guess he is an overachieving academic and researcher who's done a lot of things across many specialties. He has an MD, but he has a ton of experience in healthcare economics, and I'm not sure how to describe it... Different populations and how they engage healthcare? A lot about the poor, the elderly populations. Seems like a varied and interesting person.

Anyways, might be interesting to readers to look at. This resume only goes to 2015, so I might briefly look for the last ten years.
